MarLee Thompson, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA, SDC

MarLee has been training professionally since 2012. From the beginning of her career she has worked extensively with a variety of dog breeds, focusing on the rehabilitation of fear, anxiety, reactivity, and aggression.

Through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, MarLee is both a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine - Knowledge Assessed and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed. She is also a Cooperative Paws Service Dog Coach.

MarLee has a passion for helping rescued pets thrive at the shelter and in their forever homes. In March 2023, she joined PAWS Atlanta’s team as the on-site trainer and behavior consultant.

MarLee is dedicated to the pursuit of continuing education; she frequently attends seminars and workshops led by world-renowned trainers and behavior consultants.

In addition to behavior consulting, MarLee specializes in mobility service dog training. As an adult with Cerebral Palsy, she is equipped to make training accessible to handlers of any physical ability.

Together with her husband Beau, MarLee lives with a Belgian Malinois named Viktor and a Pug named Gordon.
